SAT4 is an acronym for “Spare a thought for…”.
The first part of this project commenced in November 2014 and involves video recording the act of handwriting the name of a writer on a piece of lined paper. These writers have all been persecuted or imprisoned for exercising their right to freedom of expression.
15 November 2014 will mark the 33rd anniversary of the annual Day of the Imprisoned Writer. This project is my act of solidarity with these writers. I will upload a new video every day for the next 5 days.
I invite you to join me in publicly remembering these writers by recording videos of you writing the names of these 5 writers and uploading them to any online video sharing website you are part of.
